Try this:
1. Hold the key fob near the receiver. NOTE: The receiver is located behind the Speedometer/Tachometer cluster assembly.
2. Press and hold both the Lock and Unlock buttons at the same time for approximately 7 seconds.
3. When the key fob is resynchronized, the doors will lock then immediately unlock.
4. If the fob fails to synchronize, it could be programmed to a different truck or could have failed. -
earnies2 Thanks this.

Yeah pull the glove box and connect the 2 wires labeled rke. Hold both buttons on the the remote til the doors lock/ unlock. Donit again on as mamy remotes as you have. Disconnect the rke wires and it should be programmed. Procedure is the same for all conventionals. 389/388/367/386
579/567 has a wonky procedure to follow.
Also there is a fuse in the fuse box labeled rke as well for remote keyless entryWheeljack and spsauerland Thank this. -

06 should have the new style dash with the wiper controls on the turn signal stalk. Open the glove box and dive in to the left. Might also need to pull the b panel and dive down. Wires are just kinda hanging out in there
Wheeljack Thanks this. -
