I took 6 days off the entire year. Usually one day at a time.

I’ll be finishing the year with something like 17 days when we roll over on Feb 3, so 21 days is entirely possible.

    Well, what’s everyone think?

I’m still not sure what I’m going to go for as there’s not many 5/2 after the 100-something picks before me...

Region 6 has no 6/3s which was my first choice. I could maybe pull a truck but I will probably take either a Tuesday 8 am extra or 5/2-5/3.

I’m thinking of going home. Johnstown most likely will be closed down. 100% of the frozen dairy was given to swift. 70% of the remix was given to swift. 30% or 25 loads a day is what’s left for Walmart. Need to win in grocery, he says. Is winning lowering the overall cost by making it 100% outsourced? I guess so. There will always be Walmart and amazon the rest will fall off or hang on some how. They’re also charging swift $750 for a load not covered and $150 per late stop. Guess that’s how they’ll make money now on grocery. Oh well I guess it’s a sign, sticking around for 6 months to wait the fate idk if I can do that. I’ll now have to commute 147 miles to either Marcy or Raymond.....not gunna happen. I guess it’s a sign to just come home......

I heard they removed Prime from Lewiston and went all PF. Mebane, and Ochelleta (Bartlesville?) are stll PF. Personally I think they are way screwing up. They can use those drivers anywhere. Giving them a terminal they will work out of will keep them. We have a few from 6059 said they are not commuting, and I know half of 6972 will leave if they have to transfer.

They couldn’t come to terms on a contract which I’m sure had something like Swift’s in there. $750 per load not covered and $150 per late stop plus the increase in revenue from using an outside carrier. It’s a no brainer for Walmart but prime wasn’t having it. Also same with Pottsville? I can’t remeber everything. Once I realized I’m most likely going to have to commute 150 miles one way everything flew over my head haha. So I guess Lewiston will stay for the time being and looking to hire I would imagine.

They are also out of Olney. Not sure if there are going to be any Prime in the DCs.

Transservice was supposed to take over but they wanted 6 months to ramp up according to the rumors.

Talked to a guy yesterday who said transferred to Menomonie from Mt Pleasant, IA.

Said they did away with the 6/3 for some reason.

Really hoping the rumor of everyone being on a 5/2-5/3 isn’t true because that’s a pretty #### ridiculous schedule.
