Well then it can be applicable in two ways there smarty pants.

One it means there ARE no regulations pretaining to a grill.

OR

Two it means that a propane grill can be considered a material of trade, since it keeps me fed (which keeps me healthy), and thus could be considered a material of trade as posted:

Material of trade means a hazardous material, other than a hazardous waste, that is carried on a motor vehicle'
(1) For the purpose of protecting the health and safety of the motor vehicle operator or passengers;
(2) For the purpose of supporting the operation or maintenance of a motor vehicle (including its auxiliary equipment); or
(3) By a private motor carrier (including vehicles operated by a rail carrier) in direct support of a principal business that is other than transportation by motor vehicle.

 

Your statement Re. no regulations is correct under federal rule however a state may have a more restrictive rule in this regard as it's not covered in the federal rules in this specific area.

And young lady, I am not a "smarty pants" as you suggest. I'm just a retired federal haz mat specialist that doesn't need to look up these rules........I just know the rules because I enforced them between July, 1980 and August, 2004. I haven't insulted you by using phrases such as you have. Why must you?

And I know a lot of rules have changed since 2004, so you would still have to look up some current rules, unless you get updated by 'New Hazmat rules monthly magazine' And yes, I am young, Insensitive???
