Darrell Walltrip used to race in wing tips. Till they wouldn't allow him.

Now that I'm caught up and done with humor. I dont care you do you. Now let's go out on a limb. Your driving down the road in your plastic pants and flip flops. You have a wheel bearing/brake fire. Or come across a passenger car accident, maybe on fire. What do you do? Make the fire wait, or victims while you change?

I'm only a Tshirt jeans and boots guy. Once in awhile button down shirt. But I change shirts after loading in mills and wear a long shop coat. I start everyday neat and clean. Might not end that way.
Ran high dollar wreckers many years, full uniform, even pinstriped button down shirts. Some days looked like oiled pile of garbage at the end of the day. Some days changed cloths multiple times. I was a employee, the guy writing the check said so.

With that said, I had not thought about a guy on a break in a truckstop. For that I should be more considering. Wear what you want. But I've seen guys trying to load iron in shorts and flip flops. I'll not judging him, he has told me he is stupid.

I have always spent the money for Levi's. Is just me, but about 5 years ago, they didn't last long. Went back to wranglers.

Denver-Hayes. Seem to average 6-9 months out of a pair. Bearing in mind I'm walking 10k or more steps every day too.

I have been meaning to try them. Price dont matter if they hold up. I'm cheap. But boots, jeans, trash bags, and toilet paper has no budget.

I've noticed that with the few new pairs of Levi's i just got. Not the same quality as my old ones that are 7-8 years old. Don't think I'll be buying anymore. Will see how long these new ones hold up
