Anyone wanna talk about scanning paperwork? I missed that part in class.
Also, what all do they want you to turn in, when you scan paperwork?
Thanks for any and all help. -
Yes this what upset me about most place's they yank you out class too do a road test, medical, ect, then you miss stuff, then from there its all here say from other drivers, myself i wish they would make a complete 5 day orientation video set , you could wacth back at the motel or a stream you can download on the lap top.just a thought.
mtnMoma Thanks this. -
What i did was once i got empty, then accept the next load and knew the weight of next load, i head for the truckstop, get my fuel, hand her my paperwork, scan it , send it in, done, almost, then i go too the copy room if they have one and make copys of everything, now my fuel is paid for, my trip is scanned, and i go park and file my copys in my file folder, then i wait for the ever for famous 1 am load time too be there the next day at 2 pm at 567 miles away

I know how a transflo works...But I need to know what has to be turned in on every load, and how do I make sure to get paid for scale tickets and what not?
-
Make sure the weight justifies scaling first off. If not sure call you FM and get authorization. Make sure you do a Macro 7 (expense report) before you do a mac 8. Include all expenses, tolls, scales and anything else on one macro 7. You can only do it once per PRO number. Put a sticker on the first page of the BOL. Only one sticker needed. Make sure you send the BOL including the page with the caonsignees signature. So you send:
Scan Cover Page
BOL with ONE sticker
All receipts
If you have a large packet for a BOL, you will not need to send it all. It will be summarized somewhere, send that. I think a 3 page BOL i the most I have sent.
That is it -
Can't send a Mac 7 without driver tech...But the other was what I needed to know. The scale ticket was an MT weight I needed for a ld. I thought you had to sticker every page of the BOL, but since you don't I'll quit wasting stickers...LOL.

I am sooooo happy to see this......mine said I was out of route about 22,700 miles.....30 less than I had on my odometer....LOL
I pay no attention to it whatsoever......I'm out of route even when I'm sitting at the customer. -
Thanks all for contributing to this thread...
Craig, I was told and the folder says the same, that your suppose to put a sticker on all RELEVENT BOL papers...?? I got to tell you...THANK you for telling us about MAC 7,,I have scanned one receipt without doing a MAC 7,,, I will call my FM and let her know about it tomorrow,, I got athorization to scale the load I have now and will remember to send MAC 7 this time...thanks again.mtnMoma Thanks this. -
I am also glad to hear that they don't pay attention to the OOR.. The way it sounded before I started was rediculous.. Don't get me wrong, OOR is a waist of fuel, but sometimes you HAVE to go a different way,, and the first time I have to pay $1 per mile,,,,I'm gone!
