The other day I had someone pull out in front of me from a rest area with less then 100 feet between us and me doing about 45 mph. I almost smacked his drives but was able to stop with only about 8 feet to spare. That was slamming on my brakes to. The jack%$# just looked at me and smiled.
To all the rookies out there,
The stopping distance for a fully loaded tractor trailer is between 350' and 400' at 55 mph. If your pulling out in front of someone please make sure they are at least that distance away. I have seen some pretty bad accidents due to this very thing and it never ends well.
Proper pulling out distance

They do it on purpose. I was going up a grade in ky and this semi was behind another going maybe 30 and right when I was about to pass he pulled out in front of me. I had to brake hard up the grade to keep from hitting him..same thing. He just smiled as I went by. Needless to say Prolly same fool. Hell end up off a cliff someday, don't worry those clowns don't last.
David_Simpson and tlalokay Thank this. -
Sad thing is, those clowns are all over the country. And just as stupid as 4 wheelers.
Wargames, Big Don, David_Simpson and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yup. It is tragic.. in each state I travel I see how many of those clowns are now 6 feet under.

I love the guys who try to pass you through narrow construction zones with concrete barriers sitting on the fog lines, or the guys who cut you off while trying to pass on a hill and make you slow down to 55 so you don't ram your nose up their ###. I mean where do they find these clowns. They drive slow when they should be driving fast and fast when they should be driving slow.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
No.that came out wrong. What I meant to say is its tragic to see the stats on fatalities in all the states I go thru and I wonder how many of those are caused by those clowns vs how many are those clowns.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
