Texas DOT always told me that a minimum of a closed-toe shoe was required but I never spent any time looking for the specific regulation because I always drive in boots. Period. I rarely drive in tennis shoes.

I’ve worn Chippewa boots for the past 5 years at least, only have two pairs and they last a long time apparently if you take care of them, but they’re not slip resistant even though they’re steel toe and that’s something I need to look into; would be nice to have a custom pair of boots, especially with my flat size 13 extra wide feetsinglescrewshaker Thanks this.

How do those Ariats grab a clutch pedal? I had to stop wearing my Red Wings because my foot was slipping off the pedal. The first time it happened, I was on a plant scale. The weighmaster was none too happy with me. I thought I had tire up his scale.
