I Def didn't hear 68,000. I also don't drive for .25 a mile. I guess for some that are optioned with .25/600 or .50/300 the latter is the better choice , but if you have the experience to get the .50 mile you won't be settling for .25 to start with.

I wasn't trying to degrade other drivers. Wasn't my point in the post. My point was for them to do the MATH. Ask questions. Don't just look at cpm. You should get paid to load and unload. You aren't free labor or a truck babysitter.

    I won't do that.

For Shaffer it 68,000 for top 50%. Plus guaranteed detention after 2 hours. Guaranteed. No sitting uncompensated like you said. Plus 10,000,000 was put into company profit share. Sorry your application wasn't accepted. Get your facts straight.

I agree, do the math and look at more than just cpm.

It's what you take home and how much time you're at home that really matters IMO.

I took it you were saying the only thing that matters is the number of miles.

Ha. OK... then I stand corrected and withdraw my post. But , I won't work for 68k either big rigger.

I never applied.. won't apply. I've got a job for for a man. Not a school boy. Do your time and you can get one , too.

Sorry if my original post hurt your feelings. .. wasn't my intent.

Perhaps you could post some helpful information that would counter the OP's claim?

I'm assuming you work for Shaffer and that puts you in an excellent position to correct any bad information or provide us with new information that comes directly from the company as opposed to just jumping straight to "due yer a tr0ll lawlz!" ;)
