Having problems with the auto headlight switch. It's the switch that's next to the work (utility light switch). The switch green indicator light keeps turning on and off on its own, and makes the headlights run on and off while driving. Could it be the switch itself, or electrical short? Is this controlled by the body controller? Thanks!

I would say it is a problem with the switch.
My11Inter Thanks this. -
Or it might not be the switch as using the wipers turns on the lights without pressing the switch.

Thank you sir. Will call dealer to order switch and see if that's the problem. I know it's normal on these trucks for the lights to turn on with the wipers. Right now, not even with wipers turns the lights on. Just work on their own all of a sudden while driving.

Called the dealer for the switch, and man, almost $300. I'll just live with that faulty switch for a while going on and off. Thanks again.

You can have that programmed out too. Next time you are in, buy the guy a coffee and he will probably do it for free.

Having a problem myself, truck is a 2010. While the truck is parked in the parking lot, the lights just start flashing by themselves and in no particular order.

Press and hold the headlight switch in the on position to see if this cures the problem. If it does, then the rocker switch is not making contact with the micro buttons on the circuit board inside the cluster.
