good morning! I have a fault code SPN 524285 FMI: 14 (2013 International prostar) Maxx Force Truck is running fine, no loss of power, no smoke and no leaks. What gives? Thank you!
SART module. It just records time when a fault happens because the engines don't have internal clocks. "Stand alone real-time" module. It is actually battery powered and likely has a dead battery. When these go bad the only code that leads to trouble is the ambient air temp does not agree with others codes that can lead to a failed regen. It takes a unique combination of circumstances to induce this code and another round of low probability conditions for the regen to not happen, so this rarely causes a failed regen, but it is still possible.
HeavyD, i have spn 84 fmi 5, spn 5246 fmi 15, spn 3984 fmi 2, spn 84 fmi 19, spn 84 fmi 15. And def tank marks empty. 2015 Prostar n13
84-5 not on my list of engine codes, might be from something else 5246-15 SCR tampering inducement level 1, you have been ignoring a DEF related fault warning light. 3984-2 not on my list of engine codes, might be from something else The only 84 series of codes is 84-2 for vehicle speed anti tampering. What are you using to read codes?
2006 international 7700 , yellow engine light came on won't go off , super lack of power, checked all fluids, and batterys ,can someone please help me , thanks
@Heavyd 2011 international prostar max force Yellow engine light Code: Sw rev 6.1 hw rev c1 Any ideas ??
Those numbers mean nothing to me. Where are you getting those numbers from? Those are not fault codes, but display software from some sort of display screen. Software revision 6.1, hardware revision 1
