LOL. That’s how anti-gun people think we operate!

Personally I prefer an L34A1. Much quieter and no need for special sub-sonic rounds.

Yep. Everything they learn, they get from watching Dirty Harry, Rambo and the news and suddenly they think they can tell you how your mind works. In their world, the police solve all crimes in an hour. Home alarm goes off, ADT will have the police at your house in 15 seconds! So, you gun guys have to be scared and paranoid, because normal people STATISTICALLY will never need one.

You never want to get to the point to where you are dependent upon someone else for your safety. And that’s exactly what they want you to do.

I don’t carry. I have, but don’t any longer. In 21 years I have never felt like I needed it. With that said I don’t care if someone does. I do think a lot of people who carry are probably not proficient with their weapon and rely too much on the thought of merely having it is going to be a deterrent. I think the byrna gun is a good middle ground. If it’s anything like a high powered paintball gun it will hurt like a sob. Probably long enough for you to remove yourself from the situation.

    Speaking of the news…

Was sitting in a diner one morning having breakfast. There was this young guy that had been sitting quietly and eating. He went into the restroom. When he came out, SHTF. The guy attacked this older couple, in their 80s, physically. Diner was packed. It took 8 of us to get him off of the old folks. The 6 cops show up and took our place. I am glad they did, because this guy was stronger than all of us. They had 2 tasers juicing this guy and he still broke 3 pair of handcuffs. They finally got the guy subdued and he drops dead.

The talk was flakka. Until that point, I had never heard of it, but all of your first responders, EMTs, firefighters and cops have been briefed. It never made the news. Kinda like the Jaws movie where the mayor wants to keep the shark attacks quiet, so he hides this info from the general public. If the guy had been black, they would put it on the news to put their racist spin on it. 6 cops kill an unarmed black man in custody would be too irresistible to pass up.
