Some people with high dollar cameras will pack a flare gun under TSA firearms rules to make sure those cameras get through perfect.

 

Checked baggage maybe.

Otherwise you can concentrate the hell out of the sun and pretty much burn through anything on the plane. It wont take much to generate a fire source with a camera lense of sufficient precision and power. Especially the old time lenses that have not had a specific modern diffuser built into them so you cannot focus the sun like that for fire purposes.
