Some folks may recollect an incident earlier this year where a piece of curb stone was dropped off a pallet and punctured the deck of my Mac step.
Anybody ever get any ideas for deck protection on aluminum trailers as far as palletized products, as far as drop impact protection and also stone/pieces of blacktop stuck to the bottom runners of pallets?
I been thinking maybe cover the surface with stall mat (4’x6’x3/4” rubber) sheets, stack them up and tie them on when empty?
Protecting your deck on your open deck trailer?

May not cover aa much room as you need to, but i keep about 6 36" rubber mudflaps for the same reason

How about some old belts for a round baler? I can't remember what the length is, 34ish feet IIRC for our old Vermeer. 12" wide. Rolls up pretty small. Might work if placed strategically

Those stall mats are a PIA to move around. Easier up on a deck, but still heavy and awkward.

Trying to keep stuff nice is futile, especially when you have a trailer as nice as yours.
Feedman, CAXPT, exhausted379 and 6 others Thank this.
