Most threads usually veer off to he said/she said or try to go political at some point. If the topic is, "is it black or white", sooner or later it becomes, "the price of tea in China".

Don’t worry about someone with the Supertrucker disease. He’s only trying to make himself feel adequate.
I 80 in Nebraska is awful. They will let that get too bad. They won’t close it. Then all these Megas. They tell their drivers: If it ain’t closed. You have to run. Or you’re fired.
I spent a whole day. Sitting in Grand Island. Watching truck after truck get towed in. Must have been hundreds ran off i80.

Be careful using blanket statements. Swift encourages drivers to park in bad weather/conditions. I'm sure most of the others do the same. If you do not feel comfortable......park it. I drive for Danny Herman. We are also encouraged to park it in bad conditions. Never let anybody tell you to drive in unsafe conditions......period. YOU are the Captain of the ship......and ultimately responsible for the said "Ship"

    You both have valid statements.

I worked for a mega. Never force you to run in bad weather. Good company. Will always like the company. But my terminal manager? I walked out on them the second time. When they re powered a load of mine. Didn’t even tell the guy who took it. He had 60mph wind gust warnings.

Well...anyone know why my inspections didn’t show up in my PSP report? I checked it maybe 3 months ago just to see what was on it and it was just zeros basically. 0 inspections etc. But I had two inspections in 2019 (both clean with no violations) that I got in KY. A level 1 and a level 2. Not sure why they weren’t on there.
