Psychedelics back in the old days.

I WAS interested, at the time of watching YOUNG GUNS (a little after it was released), in absorbing some Peyote.
"Seemed" like a good idea. I Had not since then engaged such frivolous activity and 99.9999% Not Likely since recently graduating into the 6th Decade of top-c turvy Life.

Since I WAS An Alcoholic, I Was Given Another Chance At Sobriety in June '92 with a 30 Day In House Sobriety Program (6.5 years before Driving Class A).
The Only Drugs I do currently are Caffeine and Nicotine, as well random, when needed, Medical Prescriptions.

It’s been 36 yrs.now. One of the last few things that finally made Me quit drinking, smoking weed, and snorting coke, was an acid trip. I worked with a bunch of Guys I grew up with. We had a Sunday night House Party, drinking and smoking. One old friend showed up with a bunch of Mr. Natural, (Ironically Keep on Trucking). We all had to work on Monday, after partying all night. So we each took another hit, and went to work. I had to make my pick ups downtown, since I was the Driver. Thank God nothing happened. It just proved to me how one thing leads to another. I had to quit everything, otherwise I’d have no future in Trucking, or Life in general. We laughed a lot, because of the drug. But in reality, none of its very funny.

 

ahhh.....the joys pf psychotropics. shrooms, peyote, LSD, THC.

took mass quantities in the late 60's thru the early 80's. smoked a few bales of weed too! lol

motorcycles and acid freak ya out when you look in the mirror and the road is rolling up behind you.
