You look like a man with a plan.
Maybe you can share one day, when you feel comfortable.

Won't let you? How do they force a driver to pay attention to it? Once it is tuned out, it's tuned out. My trainer with 29 years experience didn't worry at all about the camera, the crash mitigation system, vocal warnings, etc. He is a good driver with no incidents in 28 years. All 30+ years now of his are with KLLM. What my trainer showed me is the nanny system things will only bother a driver as much as the driver allows.

Actually, it's been proven that sewing tinfoil into the cuffs of your pants offers optimal protection from the mind control rays being beamed at us. Government studies have proven this, honest!

Its less the monitoring, i can ignore that ifni need to. Its all the whistles chirps buzzes beeps and inability to turn them the #### off ontop of the truck wrestleing with me for control constantly ONTOP of the monitoring that made me flip a table finally.

I think the OP was concerned about all the electronic ‘emissions’ and harm potential. I don’t use earbuds, never hold a smartphone to my head always use ‘speaker’. The long term effects of electronic poisoning is a concern, and being suppressed.

All I have to say is if you are "triggered" by the safety equipment. You don't have thick enough skin to even be out there. SMH

I think understand what he is saying. It’s like slow indirect torture. You wouldn’t know it was affecting you till one day you explode in anger. I’m sure some could hear it and tune it out for a long career. A lot of others….probably not.

I was in Managemet 2.5 years out of 5 at an oilfield chemical company. Two phones and a laptop everywhere I went. Very overworked. I didn’t notice any personal changes. It wasn’t till I was fired that my girl told me I turned into a bad person. She would call every evening on her way home to gauge my mood so she know how to act when she got home. I just thought she wanted to BS while sitting in traffic. I turned into a monster and didn’t notice it. She was happy I was fired. At first I couldn’t understand why.

So I can see all the controls and alarms, especially when you the driver did nothing wrong, start to change a person.

It’s like having a nagging woman with you at all times. How long do you want to put up with it?
