I know under the old system any vacation owed was paid out to a driver when he left. On the new pto system I've asked a driver that I know if he was paid out and he said no.
I would really hate to leave thousands of dollars left on the table.
Any info on this would be appreciated.

Are you switching companies or just quitting/retiring?
-
Nobody quits from WM, only retires..... So claims management.
Going in a different direction, shouldn't matter either wayfoggy Thanks this. -
When I switched jobs last year, there was a couple week gap between so I had enough time to burn whatever vacation I had accrued before walking out the door. The company was unaware I had already agreed to take another job and I didn’t tell them until after I got my vacation, dropped the bomb on them the day I came back. If you’re in a similar situation, I’d suggest playing it the same way.

Claim was because we were starting pnet training and there was no use in him having it since he was leaving.Coover Thanks this. -
DTP is right...burn and then go...You can be on pto while starting at your new job then come back and quit ...been done a lot here lately. If WM says you must give notice the day you quit...just say this is the notice right now. About as musch notice as we get when they screw with us
