Let me see what I can dig up. I don’t think I have ever installed a TRP and we never install them so I have no personal experiences.
So I guess my answer would be return it while you can if you want my opinion.

I have had good luck with the TRP ones. Hope for your sake just a bad reservoir, coolant on left side is a sign of combustion gas in cooling system.

Well just went into rush peterbilt Ft. Wayne, Indiana and the mechanics here told me I'm fine, the new TRP coolant tanks are designed this way to have coolant on both sides. He said if it has to much pressure and its shooting out of the breather tube/cap on the left side then you have a problem... I dont have that issue...

Why would the aftermarket tank operate different? Something’s fishy here.
I looked and didn’t find any documentation on these TRP tanks. My brain clicked as something was mentioned with another colleague about this issue but I came up empty.

No need to be sorry. I'm going to try and contact someone from TRP Monday and get some clarification on this. Think I'm also going to get one of those combustion leak detectors that I posted above just for peace of mind. They are like $30 from harbor freight and have really good reviews...
