Absolutely clearly not alone Aminal.
I've yet to encounter a period I couldn't bowl-over with a coma, or
squeeze in two or three more paragraphs, --- no problem there.
The problem is bringin' it all to a stop before the end of the road,
and then I gotta edit-out 6 or 7 hundred words to make it fit.
But it ain't the same after that.
NutZ!
2DeleteorNot2Delete?
Now-A-Daze I usually stick to writin' condensed versions.
And, in the interest of time consumption I eliminated actually
readin' what I write right after I wrote it.
Sorta redundant, I'm thinkin'.
Ya reckon.
Besides, ..... I usually read whatever I write in the form of quotes.
Sometimes mis-quotes.
But as long as they're pretty close, it's all good.
BTW: I actually read ALL of a long post written by others.
Even if it hurts.:smt112
It's twue!

At the pawn shop on 8 Mile in Detroit, the father and daughter were there and they were filming. I wandered around looking in the cases, so I may be in the background of a few shots.
The gas monkeys garage in Dallas was closed the day I was there for filming....Just the store open....Last edited: May 17, 2014
HA, that is awesome. That's the last thing I would expect from a cop. Judging by the faces of the people stopped, they thought so too. BTW, mpow66m, are you a cop?
no im not a cop and i dont condone Police handing out ice cream cones instead of doing something useful.dont mean to be a stick in the mud. -

The "NEXT" time he stops you??!! :smt104
Ya reckon he's gonna try to make stoppin' you a habit? :smt108
Let's review the high-points here.
1. You live 5 miles from a scale house.
2. You pass by said scale house on a daily basis.
3. A "very young" DOT officer mans that scale house.
4. That "very young" DOT officer has never gone for a ride in a for real
Big truck.
5. You "sure believe" that DOT officers should, at least, know what we see when we drive
a Big truck. (Not a bad idea.)
Now, ..... Take all that pertinent information and add it up.
Whadda ya get?
HuH? :smt107
Say WhaT? :smt104
Who said 15?
Please see me in my office after this presentation.
I gotta 'splain sumthin' to you. :smt112
Actually, what'cha got here jbatmick, is a perfect opportunity to take a badge
for a ride in a for real Big truck, ---- the Big truck that you drive.
Call it:
"Community Relations" --- For a Better Tomorrow, ...... Today.
Or some other catchy title.
Have your employer get on board the campaign to promote makin'
highways safer through communication and cooperation. The DOT cops
will get to experience what it's like for a Big truck truck driver tryin' to observe
highway safety with four-wheelers on a suicide mission hail-bent on takin' out as
many fellow motorists as possible before the ride ends and they assume room temperature.
Think about it jbatmick.
You'd like for all DOT officers to know what Big truck truck drivers
see out thar from their lofty perch on a daily basis.
And you, my friend, could be one of the someones who shows 'em what they need to see.
Maybe then the DOT officers will understand enough to realize we all could use some
slack to be cut the next time we're stopped.
And we might come away with a tad better understandin' of what a day in their life is like, out
on the highways and byways enforcin' the laws we break, with nary a thanx for their efforts.
Big truck truck drivers can identify with that scenario. :smt045
Ya reckon.

The only way a dot officer is riding with me is if he leaves his ticket book at home lol -
