Pulling Pump Head for pre purchase inspection?

    Call cummins with the engine serial number. They should be able to tell you if it has the ceramic plungers or not...

    I had the plungers changed in my ISX at Cummins for like $270, parts and labor.

    They do it as a type of courtesy if the engine still has the ceramic plungers.

    So if that's your primary concern, buy the truck and take it over to Cummins.

    Cummins may not, but the dealer where the truck was purchased will have that info.

    Providing you get in contact with someone that gives a hoot.
