I am going to be putting the 5k down for a new 680 not going with the evolution. I will be able to get just as good fuel economy as the ego maybe better just like the resale value of the Kenworths. I am still looking at heading up in the middle of May just not in any hurry. Well you all be safe and keep your head up.
Drifter42 Thanks this. -
Hey..I'm sure you're leaning towards the ISX..the paccars are speed limited to 65mph(new this model year).
You CANNOT turn them up with out voiding the warranty.
Just a little FYI.Last edited: Apr 6, 2014

I'm seriously considering becoming a lease operator with Schneider. Been staying on top of this thread recently and really liking what I'm reading. My question is, does Schneider offer health insurance for y'all or did y'all go else wear?
Thanks -
Ok Drifter thanks. That's really my only concern that I have at this point. Do any of y'all know what kind of trucks are available for no money down? I know that it use to be the old company trucks, but from reading the threads on here they no longer do that. I would prefer an older pre-emissions truck so I won't have to deal with the BS of the def system.
Thanks.trucker43 Thanks this. -
Boethel Thanks this.

I was wrong about the T 680 being limited..it can depending on the company that orders it.
O/O spec will be just fine..sorry for the confusion.trucker43 and daywalker24 Thank this. -
Anybody have some mpg's on the 680 pulling average loads? The specs on the trucks they sent me seem favorable for good mpg. I would like to see a 3 or 6 month average so if anybody has some info post it by all means. Thank you, you all be safe and keep your head up.

I'm looking into the KW t680 myself..talked with Schneider Finance.
FYI it is a "premium truck lease"..meaning you'll have to lease for 2-5 years with $2000 down.
This is with a outstanding credit rating.
I'm looking into outside financing or even buying from a dealer.
The nice the thing about SFI's trucks are the all come with an APU.trucker43 Thanks this.
