i was told taking an APU off a truck is like cutting an asking price in half because you have all the holes un used duct work electric ran which makes sense

I'm with you 48Packard. I can stand bundling up in the cold, but I can't get my beauty sleep in a sweat box :biggrin_25513:

really? you can't figure it out?

you break the seal on the reefer and you sleep in the trailing on top of spare pallets...

ok, mebby not. You idle the truck with the AC on and fans blowing. There is no way I'm going to make my Idle limit. :( it's at 35% and I'm can't seem to get it below 41% now. These southern loads are killing me!! I try to turn it off and have fans blowing air, but they just blow hot air, and a Minnesota boy like me doesn't like hot summer nights!!!

But the thing with the reefer is actually a neat trick. if it's hot and your reefer is empty just turn on the reefer, cool it off, put a lawn chair inside, grab a magazine or handheld TV if you can get a signal, and hope that nobody locks the door behind you!!
