My last truck used to occasionally "beep beep" warn, reacting to LED trailer blinkers of a truck moving over in front of me. But it never actually braked without pretty good reason.

Elogs don't always leave room for patience.

Elogs are irrelevant. Either you drive with patience or you don't.

Not sure why it's so hard for some to learn but being a few spots ahead in the line of traffic gains you very little time.

The added stress on both you and the equipment negates any minor gains.

Sure, it can be frustrating when everyone seems to be getting by you but if you find a big truck a half mile ahead and pace them you'll find that no matter how much space you leave, and no matter how many headless chickens temporarily occupy that space before exiting or switching back to the other lane because they think it's going faster, that big truck will still be a half mile ahead of you.

Once you realize that you'll be much more relaxed.

    They'll never buy it.

Tell them it was a wild-n-wolly encounter with a lot lizard.

P.S. You need directions to a local pharmacy.

Sometimes you need to save the seconds.

Nah. Two phillips screws on each speaker. No big deal. Took maybe two minutes.

Disagree. To each their own. Stop punchin' the equipment though, it's pointless. :)

@bertita1986 Notice the Schneider truck go by me at the 2 min mark of the video and then jump to the 12 min mark to see the same truck.

You'll notice I don't get cut off very often, never have to make any sudden speed changes and I don't really sacrifice a significant amount of time. Someday when you have time to spare give it a try. :|

If seconds matter, you are doing it wrong.
