    "Morbid obesity" is having a BMI over 40, so it's pretty common.

    At 5'6", 250 (down from 270), I'm still in that category, though most who see me don't think I weigh that much. I'd be perfectly happy at 170, which according to "the charts", is still too heavy.

    The BMI index is not even entirely accurate. I don't know why doctors use it. Anyhow, I had to waste my money at a sleep clinic to be told that I have sleep apnea, "yet it's not severe enough to require treatment". *SHRUG*

    I've seen dudes that can bench 400 and have like 5% body fat classified as obese due to bmi.
