    With great sadness, I'm here to report to any following this thread that I must bring a close to my trucking career. On Friday I once again had cardiovascular difficulties and had to return home. I may be willing but the body just can't handle the stress of being a truck driver. Be safe out there and I may or may not keep up with the forum, I haven't decided that yet.

    I will be strating Pride tomorrow. I have not heard any neg or pos about the company, so i am anxious to see how they are. I am happy so far, i flew in and am getting reimbursed for that and the hotel is very nice.

    Can you tell me what the rider policy is like over there? Is there a mandatory wait time like 90 days before you can have a rider on the truck?

    I don't believe there is a wait time. A guy in my orientation had his wife on the truck 3-4 days after starting. I believe it's $30 fee for the month for a rider. I don't think they'll hire out of Ohio though if your location listed is correct.
