When home is almost 2 days drive away and you are pointed in the wrong direction you do what you gotta do.
I'm glad those days are over. My brother was running me into the ground when we were running independent. There was no such thing as 70 hrs in 8 days when I was running for him.
I would have 100 or more on the log book after I hid every thing I could. Good thing the DOT never added up my total on all the inspections I had!
How does the saying go?
Work 110, log 70 and get paid for 60. THAT WAS ME!
When I first started with Landstar it felt like I was doing some serious slacking because of only working 70. -
that "rats nest" is the source of my current lighting problem....the rear clearance light and outside brake light are only half-way working, as in no clearance funtion, brake still shines
i think the root cuase is behind the welded ( no idea why it is welded other than someone couldnt find the bolts) panal at the main harness....im hopeing it will wait till i get home and have some better tools and daylight....lol
must have been a good job....it lasted quite awhile -
I didn't do any welding on that part. What I did do was pull all of the lights out and then all the wiring and wired every thing up as best as I could. And then stuffed it back together. So there is extra wire there that wouldn't be needed if you could get to it under the floor boards.
