I got a 102" on a 10" shaft...Faster i go the taller it gets cause of the bend so when in ny goin across the cross bronx i slow down..

I would get rid of the perch to,hate those pos...All the strain is on one bolt hole...If you lean the ant foward some then you loose the height at lower speeds but at higher speeds it will bend straight up n taller....

    Finfn1372 Thanks this.

Yeah I've got the browning at a slight lean.

Don't care to much for the perch either, but I can't run it through the mirrors at this time.

Gotta geat creative and find another solution then but i ment the perch more so than anything..Depending on th trk there might be a 2 bolt attachment mount....Stronger and will help with grounding..

    Finfn1372 Thanks this.

How do you expect him to bolt it onto his Volvo?
I don't think either one will work very well the way you're planning on attaching it to the vehicle. I would never use a Browning antenna under any set of circumstances due to how they're constructed and the problem with corrosion from road salt. I guess that leaves the 4-foot fiberglass antenna as the only other choice between the two choices.

    Finfn1372 Thanks this.
