    Let us make no mistake about it. Anyone that has a Qualcom unit installed IS paying for it. It may be a line item on you settlement called "lease", "rent" or via an increased percentage.

    Any company that does not understand what it costs to have an O/O running for them and recover that cost will be out of business.

    Why has no one asked the OP what is the percentage he is getting? Because if he is getting even 1% better he will recover the cost of the unit in less than 6-months on a $200k gross revenue.

    All this "free" stuff is just a way for the company to make more money. Any companies you know that say "After $X gross we will increase your percentage."? Because after a certain amount of revenue that insurance, qualcom, trailer, plates, etc. is paid for and the rest is profit.

    Now, if it is a mileage lease or one of these 70-75% (or lower) leases then I would say run. But he is getting that advice before knowing the situation.
