@Refreshed trucker ... most (or many?) of us "assumed" (yeah i know the cliche) that you were going thru a "refresher" course to get back OTR. If this is the case, someone in your 2x of training (okay, 2 someones...) has/have/had epically failed you.. or you just didn't quite grasp the concept.
Trust me, I'M NOT BEING SHIZZY here at all... but if you REALLY grasped that concept in completeness, there would be no questions. RW had the answer without even thinking it thru; I on the other hand, not being OTR..... tried to overthink it myself. Maybe that's what YOU are doing?
Hope we didn't scare you away, man. We tend to be rough around the edges, but you will find diamonds in the rough... aka: Your ANSWER lies within.
Calm down, hope some of this helped.
ps: sometimes it's like being indoctrinated, weeding out the picking and the jokes. I still get'em, myself...
Hope you got it figured out, man.

    x1Heavy and fargonaz Thank this.

Try to find some materials online to explain the entirety of what you need to know about HOS not being rude but if you were unaware of the 70hours in 8 days and 34 hour reset to reset it.... Then there may be other things your also not aware of and I could only guess what it may be so can't help explain it if I don't know what to explain.... Just trying to help... Stay safe out there

No Need For 34Hr Reset....just do this...

step 1: find a paper clip

step 2: remove the qualcom from the cradle

step 3: find the pin hole for reset

    step 4: straighten the paperclip

step 5: insert paperclip into the tiny teeny hole

step 6: press & hold pin into hole for 30 seconds

step 7: press the power button on the qualcom

NOTE 1: if the clock is not reset back to 70, go back to step 5

NOTE 2: if no device does not reset, please call 1 (858) 587-1121 ----> Qualcomm customer service, ask for tech support.

    Good luck!

Some companies when they detect a hard reboot on the QC is a firing offense. Tampering with equiptment. Just so you know.

What I did in my time is find a hole that caused the QC to be blocked from it's parent satellite in space, no contact. It becomes a black hole as far as dispatch is concerned. Vermont and NH comes in handy with certain mountains to park next to at night when you want a rest undisturbed by a stack of call me messages.
