Same thing happened to me, Qualcomm shorts while hooking up CB. I don't see a fuse under my bunk where the Qualcomm is connected, do I have to remove some plastic casing or something? Also behind the dash, same question; do I have to unscrew the dash and take it out? The only fuses I can find are under the hood and none of them are 25A

Wtf? I answered that question days ago and was waiting for a response Must have been logged off. I'm driving a 2016 automatic freightliner cascadia. Today I removed the glovebox and found the mother load of fuses. On top of th glovebox there's a map of the different fuses and it tells you which ones go where. I replaced 14/1 and 14/2, which is actually just 1 25A fuse and it did the trick. Qualcomm came back on right away.

This worked for me, thank you so much. Last time I called my company and had to go a week without my QC on paper logs. All for about an hour in the shop to get it fixed. Unplugged the power for thirty minutes, plugged it back in and turn the key, everything is working fine.

I've had the same problem before. Here are some things you can do to reset your QC: turn your kill switch off for at least 30 min and see if that works. If it doesn't try unplugging your QC for 30 min. You can unplug it underneath your bunk. I ended up unplugging everything down there one at a time cuz I wasn't sure which one it was. If that doesn't work it could be that the fuse is blown. I blew my fuse while installing my cb and did all of these things with no success. If it's the fuse you can remove the glove box and find the fuse box behind it. There should be a list that tells you which fuse it is but mine only had two 25 amp fuses. I changed 1 and it worked right away. Hope this helps, lemme know.

For you young ones, telephone or verbal face to face for the upcoming work week was all you got. Don't screw it up LOL. It's a little bit slower way of doing trucking, but relied on what you knew and you lost money on what you did not know.
