Seriously? Ask him to show you in the lease purchase paperwork where it says you can take that truck on day 1 of the lease and put it on at another company? As an owner/op you can put your truck where you want, as l/p I've never seen anyone able to take the truck and put it elsewhere. That gives every l/p company power over the driver that they do not have over an owner that has purchased his truck elsewhere. You have NO power to negotiate.

 

strong agree with what you said, they play numbers on owner operators. some terminals maybe good, but i don't know yet.

Well run from pasadena and most of your companies out their are going to a crapy fuel surcharge i have been with quality for a year now and i dont agree with the fuel surcharge program they have in place cause you loose out
