lunch is mandatory and if the load is over 14 stops you get a helper your just a ##### and could nt hang im 42 year old dieabetic and i can do it

 

How heavy are your routes? I got a 16 stop, 10,000-14,000 pound Starbucks route with a helper. Make $220 a night flat rate and sometimes help other routes that might be behind to make some extra money. Do use lift gates or ramps?

 

Qcd is a #### company. The only time you actually do any work is during the cold months. You can keep your 18.75 an hour. Its not hard work, the old timers like to pretend it is. You guys want to make some real money come on over to a real food service distributor like Sysco Us Foods Shamrock. I wont say where I work but I can tell you its actual WORK and I get some serious dough doing it. Another thing their union is a joke. All those drivers have high hopes wishing that GSF would let them crossover. Glorified milkman lol!!!

Route varies, early in the week case count is low between 500-900 cs. By the end of the week your looking at 1000-1300 cases max 40000lbs. Sometimes you get a pallet jack and lift gate other times you ramp it. $23.75 an hour 50-60 hours a week. I did QCD for a while, GSF wouldnt let me transfer so I split.

 

Haha....that's working hard for your money. There's guys here that make that kind of money throwing less than 10,000 lbs daily. Day routes are all liftgate and electric palletjack.

 

I agree with you, is the worst company I ever know....do not recomend it.

Can anyone explain the pay and benefits package Better? Are the trucks manual or auto? I heard both so just wondering.

 

any new information about the industry location they move to la puente i going to apply tomorrow but i am not sure how is out there any advice ?thanks
