If you make a profit you have to pay taxes like everybody else but you wont have to pay much every 3 months if any hauling that cheap....Youll be surviving & thats about it..

You really have no clue as to what can be made.

A tanker company wanted to pay me only while loaded.

I assure you I am not just surviving.

Pilot cars(escorts) get 1.45 a mile plus $65 a night out and don't have to pull anything.

    SHC Thanks this.

Im just doing the math at avg .60 per mile....Must be about .25 a mile just for fuel...That takes it down to .35 a mile...Take out maintenance, tires, taxes, food ect ect ect & your down to about .12 a mile pulling campers & thats only after youve recouped your initial investment..Until that happens your running for free...Doesnt sound very good to me...

    Like I said.

The cost of maintenance is a lot lower. When I was running western Canada, I cleared 1500 a week after fuel and food.

Why don't you get more concerned about the guys who drive tankers and are only paid to drive one way. Dead head is free.

Kind of hard to make a living doing that when I applied there and found out the pay. Percentage pay of 33 cents loaded works out to .165 total.
