Quality leasing?

No one is buying a truck outright at Quality.... That's what the dealerships are for.

 

And what's a "real" owner operator? Some one that doesn't have a truck payment?

 

Ok, Maybe i'm thinking of a different Quality company. Or maybe this o/o was bull ####ing me. I'm going to go back and edit my post.

 

I think Eagle and a few of the Roadrunner companys pay around those %.

 

I realize some lease drivers are doing ok,.But a real 0/0 has his name on the registration and picks his loads, and can leave the company to pull freight for somebody else. He's not just a glorified company driver. I speak from experience cause I did the lease deal 10 years ago.

 

So, a real O/O does have to have their truck paid off... And by picking his loads, do you mean via a load board or just non-forced dispatch.
I think many will disagree with your assessment though.

 

I meant the truck registration, not title. The majority of lease drivers have to take the load offered them. If you stay around here long enough, I think you will see that most drivers would agree with me.
