Really? I think I've responded to everyone who has quoted or questioned me?
This thread is about Quality leasing... Do you have anything of 'quality' to add? Or do you just want continue to do to L/O, L/P, O/O wanna be bashing? -
I'm going to sleep now @rocknroll81, not running to hide...

Well, when you wake up maybe you should reread my first post to you as that post has Quality, I will not really bash a lease as it could be a tool with the right driver doing it. It seems that you have been asking more questions than giving Answers. And unless something has changed, you need to be approved by one of there approved carriers before you can go to Quality which you never have mentioned unless I missed something.

Well that's what this is all about... Asking questions.

Imo... I have a quality truck. Heard the horror stories of quality and their maint. Issues, along with being out here 6 yrs I knew the risk. So I got a brand new one. All warrenty work if something happens that way I deal with international not quality. Leased on with forward air. Did well but knew I could do better. And knew I could find someone that would be able to get me closer to home so I wasn't headheading 300 miles on my own dime. So I switched to a road runner company. So far so good. No complaints getting excatly what was promised as of yet.
Through all that. Been 7 months in this truck. I have spoke to quality once. Just to inform them I was switching. That's it.
To me it's simple cause I knew what I needed and what this entailed. If you are looking to make a ton of more money then a company driver. Don't do it. If you want to be home more, don't do it. I run 4 weeks out 3 days home on avg. If you do not have any background or general knowledge In running a startup business much less in trucking, don't do it. I pay myself a variable % every month based in total net take home. It's more then I would make as a co. Driver but it's not going to let me retire anytime soon.. my wife rides with me so that helps alot. We have a place of our own that my step daughter stays at while in college since it's close for her.
So, yes it can work. No its not a option to seek if u want tons of money or u wanna be home more. But that goes to say with ANY route you take to get into your own truck.. this is my experience so far and my opinion.Loke, josephhighfield, landene and 2 others Thank this. -
Good stuff.
Did you go with the Lone Star or the ProStar? -
Prostar. It's me and my wife so there's a ton of more space
thaistick Thanks this. -
Picked her out with 31 miles on her. And about to make it 75k
thaistick Thanks this.
