Drove an 07 379 former Werner truck to well over a million and nothing major so not to scared. I asked for spec sheet on it maybe be like others and have whom was built for on it

Didn't know Werner had 379's. I test drove one the other day and if they would have come up on their trade in offer, I would have driven off in it. 06 with a brand new C-15 converted to a 6NZ with an 18 speed, 3.55 rears, fridge, 78in bunk, full gauges, etc. $58k I wanted it so bad but they wouldn't come up on the offer for my Freightshaker. I wanted a 379 when I got the freightshaker but after looking for 6 months, I couldn't find one set up the way I wanted. Bought a 2009 one owner Freightshaker then this 379 falls in my lap 2 months later. Go figure

Has anyone seen the trucks at the PA location? Do they have new trucks there?
-
I am going in this week to the Fontana yard to find a tractor but I won't choose a Prostar I used to drive for a company that had two and they wouldn't stay on the road it got so bad that they decided to park them and international had to pay for the lease on two rental tractors for two years also I won't be trying to go brand new, hopefully I can find a 2013 KW ,Pete or Cascadia, how can't these guys run solo with a brand new tractor at 93 cents a mile plus FSC and expenses The numbers just don't add up unless I'm missing something!! Does anybody pull for the forward air solutions LTL division??

Well had some repairs done to the truck I picked up Monday, had engine light for low operating temperature and wouldn't regen, shackle pins and bushings, small coolant leak and adjusted clutch. Since all done within first 30 days quality picked up the bill. So all that, new brakes and drums, steers, recap drives. I feel like I'm ready to roll.

I think part of it has to do with company you choose. Quality isn't in control of the amount of money you make. Yes some trucks are trash and break down.
ChrisRob23, Ghostridah21, Colt seavers and 1 other person Thank this.
