Funny that you mentioned this, because Hubby and I were just talking about moving somewhere in KS too. LOL He does more KS miles than any other state, so if we lived there, we would see him more.:yes2557:

    Wrong !!

Buddy of mine went through Illinois twice a week, until he moved there. Now he only gets there about once a month.

I swear these companies look at your state of residence, then post it in front of dispatch with a warning "Do not give load through this area!"

Look into Indiana. Land there is still relatively cheap, and if you're of the right-wing persuasion, it's still on that side of center.

Also look into Wisconsin if you're left-wing. That state is pretty cool.

Northern Idaho is always a winner, too. A lot of those who have fled Cally the past 15 years have gone to Idaho.

Thanks Tip! We are looking just about everywhere now. I have even "kind of" shopped in South Carolina.

SC would be good as well. Myrtle Beach property is still pretty cheap. This is because I-73 is still being built. When that is done, Myrtle won't be so cheap.
'Invest in a condo now' is what I'm saying.
