    I like my creature comforts. I spent enough time waking up to sub-zero or winter temps, cold floors and sleeping bags thank you.

    Seems like a lot of arguing just to be arguing is going on in this thread.

    On what planet is idling the engine that makes you money all night long day in and day out a good idea?
    On what planet is wasting more of your biggest expense aka fuel a good idea?

    I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but I wouldn't be surprised if oil companies or some of the mega carriers i.e. Swift, Schneider, USX are some of the biggest supporters of these junk theories on APU's vs Idling. I imagine they fear the day that drivers demand an APU or EPU be standard.

    There's some comparison. We don't have the humidity to go with the cold out west does on the coast I know that.
