Well, what prompted the question was a local produce truck that zipped through the toll booth at about 40mph, cut across the front of my truck and hit the left lane in the right most bore at about 60mph. I had thought that 'right 2 lanes' meant the right lane in either bore, but after seeing that I realized that it really wasn't clear.
-
That is why I asked, to make sure we were talking about the correct tunnel. The old one is named the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel.
-
Usually two right lanes mean the two right lanes of the highway, regardless of how the highway splits up.
-
Did you happen to get it on video?
-
I'm sure I did, as the video is constantly recording. Why do you ask?

Why pay that toll? I go around unless I'm delivering in Baltimore. I mean back when it was $4 it wasn't too bad, but it's like $20 now, right?
-
18 bucks on 5 axles, or a little over 4.5 gallons of fuel at 4 bucks per gallon.
-
Going around adds 12 miles. For me, that's $8 in fuel for a $10 savings over the toll.
