Question about bridge laws.

    I think I know what you're talking about. I was not agreeing with the poster I quoted, I was agreeing with poster he corrected. Kingpin laws are not bridge laws. They are the opposite.

    I made it safe and sound to my destination. Only scale that was open on my way here was Georgia, but I got bypassed so they didn't get a second look.

    A Rand McNally atlas will give you all that information in the first couple pages. It will tell you maximum king pin to rear axle, or rear axle group (depends on state), how much a state allows on an axle or tandem axle (FL allows 44,000, CT allows 36,000, etc). All pertinent information to do your job.

    Bridge laws are federal, kingpin laws are state laws.

    Bridge law is a fed standard. But its also a state standard. Oregon is lower. Dont know what other states might also be lower.
