Local is where its at these days, as long as the pay is fair. I drive locally for BTV now, and really enjoy what I do.

Opinions are like, well, you know. At shadow... Boyd? Really? I drove for them a short stint. Terminal in Birmingham right next door to BTC around the corner from ACIPCO. Only time I ever ran elogs and they gave me a dispatcher that tried to run me like I was on paper with no governor on the truck. He was a pompus ###. Just my experience. Doesn't mean Boyd as a whole is a bad company. Hornady was a good company while I was there. Others were not of the same opinion. My question is this, who did you drive for before BTC? How do you know BTC made secret accusations? That certainly wouldn't show up on HireRight paperwork. Not being a jerk here. Just asking an honest question

Got aquestion brsims if you have the time. I'm 50yrs young with 8yrs experience
But I've got a little arthritis in both shoulders and a little lower back issues from hustling behind a 2wheeler for 16yrs. I was OTR on the reefer side for a few yrs but had to get home because of family issues but all is well now and I got rambling fever. Is it advisable to jump into skateboarding at my age/condition? I'm in great shape otherwise. I appreciate any advise. I am not afraid of hard work
