While I haven't met Prairie Boy... yet, I have seen enough from his posts to believe him. Plus, we have a mutual friend on this board that is also "the real deal" who I have met who vouches for him. So that's good enough for me.

I've read enough of your posts to give him the the pass if u say so i guess.
i still think if you don't have to pass a pee test you just aren't a modern day sailor that's all
You can ride PB no questions asked.:biggrin_2554:
Whatever happened to Markel, haven't heard anyone mention them in a long time, all these new permit trained drive school graduates put them out a business probably.

if u must know exactly I got my D licence in 1979 and my A around 1981 I honestly don't even remember and been asked a few times by prospect employers, I just say twenty years ago and they don't have much to say after that. I'm tempted to say two weeks ago wtf difference does it make to you seat fillers...long as I pass the driving test.:biggrin_25514:

u know u can drive when your instructor tells the boss your only the second driver to ever score perfect except for one mistake which you made on purpose so you wouldn't get a perfect score and have to carry the label.

They're still around. The last Insurer that I used when I sold PipeX 6 years ago was Markel.

They used to chase us down the roads back in the 80's and early 90's, chek'n are speed, turns, everything, they'd sit on street corners waiting for us, was kinda fun, quite a few drivers got dinged but we had a good union so nobody got fired back then like they'll do to ya nowadays.
    i feel reminiscent now

Hope I get this right but in the past if we got stopped by the mermaids, they always asked....where did you start your day out from. If it was the US you finished the day by US rules. If Canada well its Canuck rules. You could only switch on the fly if you were in Canada.

If it ever was the case, it isn't now. The rules change to the appropriate jurisdiction the moment you cross the border.
