orientation is the same no matter what gps you buy. and there is a setting that you can change if you want the map to move sideways and what not. it's called, heading up or north up. take your pick. it's for 2D setting.

if you don't like the 2D mode. then change it to 3D.

copilot also has the capability of multiple routes. and will route you based off your settings. like dieselboss said. i have 2 settings. 80k pounds and 100k pounds.

being in idaho, you'll probably get some screwy routing. if your pulling a 53 trailer. they're not allowed on the secondary roads. unless you have a trip permit and can shorten your wheelbase to meet their offtrack requirements. (turning radius).

been awhile since i been on that road. but there are signs that say either 65 foot length of 48 foot trailers only.

copilot is very user friendly. and routes me more efficiently then that other brand everyone likes so much. i've had it 3 years. and when i listen to it. it's never steered me wrong. or required me to pull out my atlas.

only time i have problems. is when i make my own decision. copilot knows the streets better then me. so i don't even argue with it anymore. simply input my address and away i drive.

nice thing about copilot. is a one time license purchase. installs on whatever tablet or phone i own. and i can back it up on my pc.

i'm not out buying replacement gps units everytime one goes down.
