Regardless of your statement, I have been hauling water for 12 years which is a non hazardous commodity. I know the game there. I did admit already if you read my original post that I just got my hazmat. I do not know if the "game" that you speak of is played the same hauling hazardous mats or not, which is why I came here to seek some advice from someone who knows. Im very irritated, yes which is different from being a "spastic". I paid all that money for an endorsement that was suppose to help my chances of bettering myself for my family and I got shut down on my first attempt. So yea I dont know how these crude hauling companies do their hiring. Im sure theyd rather have someone whos already trained. Unlike the water hauling outfits who will take anyone under the sun...

I want to reiterate before I sound like a prude, but I was told by an oil hauler that his company does look into factors such as credit history. Though its one of the last things they look at, he said unfortunately alot of companies are in fact doing it. He didnt say how it affects eligibility. I told him thats bs because if it took credit to get a job in the oil patch then thered be alot of unemployed people including myself. I understand water hauling companies dont check for things like that usually because most of them are out for a quick buck before the drilling and fracing stops and the production water dies off
. I just figured the oil hauling would be different since its more professional (at least it appears to be) and more serious. -
Do you not talk to the oil hauler on the other side of that battery that you are pulling water out of? If not, not maybe you should. Crude companies like to hire water haulers and they usually know you can't drive like an idiot while pulling a tank. I don't see e problem here, you applied to one company and got shot down. Apply to others. When you get shot down by 5 or more, then we know that there is a problem that warrants getting frazzled over. -
as for credit, it is a company by company issue. Personally, I fail to see what credit has to do with the job. -
