In driving schools... do they teach thier students to drive in the middle lane(s) at all times? I can understand why a driver would not drive in the right lane in a urbanized area but why in the heck do I have to pass you on the right when were in the middle of nowhere? If I have to pass you on the right your in the wrong lane!

I just finished the Swift school yesterday. We were told to stay out of the Hammer lane and when driving on a three lane highway, use the center lane for thru traffic. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. It's what we were told.

really it would be safer, especially driving near juncktions, rest areas, willages.
In Ukraine I'd say it is a good idea to use center lane becouse when it is dark dumb hilly billy may drive tracktor with poor taillamps. -
i moved over to the right then got smacked on the side of the cab by a merging car that didn't see me

never know for sure how mergers will go about it -
I'm not talking about heavily populated areas where there are exit ramps every mile... I'm talking about where the exit/entrance ramps are miles and miles apart.. there is no reason to be cruising in the middle lane when your truck can not even go the speed limit.
