If you’re doing a reset, you save nothing.

As stated in the OP, I didn't KNOW if I would be able to COMPLETE the 34 reset. So I did that to hold onto drive time incase I got a phone call at 4am begging me to go grab a load that nobody else could. I'd been bitten in the ### before by using drive time to get to a truck stop, going off duty, and 24 hours later being asked to go pick up a load that they thought was 5 minutes from where I got unloaded. Turns out it was an hour away and I used up an hour of my drive time in the wrong direction, unpaid, just to use ANOTHER hour, UNPAID, to get BACK to where I was. I then didn't have enough drive time to go get the load and find a safe place to park and we lost the load because of that. Had I PC'd an hour I could have found parking after the pickup. It was a load of those paper rolls at a paper plant in the middle of the woods. An hour and 15 min to the closest truck parking. I would have arrived to the paper plant with about 50 min of drive time left.

So it didn't take me long to learn, every minute of drive time is precious, save them.

Yep, just like I thought. A few of them are detailed in black and white, but he said "Are there other instances where you can use it? Certainly. But these are the ones in black and white."

    Thanks for backing me up!

Great video. Drivers won't read the regulations, so they depend on what their trainer or company tells them. When asked about what do the regulations say, they answer "my company/trainer said I can do this." If someone's company allows them to do more than another company allows another driver to do, they argue and claim the limit is from the regulations. They are arguing company policy and claiming that company policy is federal regulation.
A man telling you what the regulations say in a YT video is like a wizard because they won't read the regulations.
