Whereabouts in Ohio are you starting and where in Texas are you heading to?
It's been a while since I've been north of the Red River but IIRC you should be just fine if you take I-70, I-44, and US 69.
Once you get here there are no mountains east of the Pecos. There are a couple good grades on I-10 around the 500 mile marker, but they're not very long and you should be able to handle them just fine using the proper gear and braking. Same thing with Ranger Hill up on I-20.

Most every I know of is about a 1.00 under that on a 50k base right now I’am not complaining. Would he have hooked ya to a quad or a tri ?Sons Hero Thanks this. -
