Allow Me makes a good point but I think you can figure out how to install a load bar over your head. A piece of scrap wood would let your right arm support the dumb end. I knew a one armed driver back in the 60s that had a slew of clever tricks to get by. Plus a bicep bigger than my thigh.

In case you're unfamiliar with bureaucracies, the worst thing you can do is bring this problem up yourself. Medical and orientation people are vested in covering their own butts first and foremost.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

From other stuff I have read, they mentioned that if you don't disclose your medical history they can pretty much not let you get the cdl for lying.
I also thought I read on the DMV site somewhere the same thing

As for faking all the other stuff, that should be no problem

When you are taking your physical, and this goes for everyone, ask the Doctor if you are the patient or if the company is his client. This simple question will allow you to be in a doctor patient relationship. Once that is establish the doctor can only tell the company what you allow them to do. This over rides any paper that you have signed but again make sure you point that out. Never give up your rights. A contract that forces you to is not enforceable so don't worry about that.

I am starting to get really radical about certain things.

Depending on the size of the company. Most companies do their own. The smaller ones don't. You will have to pass a drug test before they can put you into a truck. The main reason you have to go to "orientation" is to allow them to get the drug results back.

You should answer the questions, just don't volunteer more info then is asked. I'm betting questions will arise when the doc sees the scars. So it's not like you are hiding the condition. If you have a good grip you may not get grilled on it too much.

If you have a choice, you might want to avoid using a chiropractor for your physical. I made that mistake once and thought I was in a yoga class or something.
