Question About my School

At the Noth Andover MA site...the one they run as a partnership with a local community collage!!
Your SITE location might be OK....BUT NETTS has multiple location...and a school is only as good as it's worst location!
I very much got the feeling that it was all about the recruiter getting their $$ for getting you to sighnup...and they are just another for profit school, trying to het lots of government money to retain folks...notice the price change reflects the private that government gives for re-training an unemployed person?! I said I'm paying cash/self pay...and a second price list came out!! IT WAS LOWER!
How many OLD movies did you see with cabovers? There was one running in the classroom the day I dropped by...watching a movie is not teaching...it is the easy way out for an instructor...and an old out of date movie makes it worse!!

 

You spent $10K for truck driving school???

I spent less than half that, paid Swift and was out making a paycheck after four weeks.

 

PS just Google them...they lost a couple big lawsuits....they almost shutdown not too long ago...not a very $$ stable company/school....
The CT location might be OK...But the MA location is pretty sketchy...
Heck I grew up in CT, and they did have a good reputation there 10+years ago...but up here...they are not so well respected.

 

The going rate for many NE trucking schools is about $5000 (usually a 4 or 6 week full time program....).
You got ripped....that is what I'm talking about...two price lists...the cash price, and the government price, ot the "we will finance price. RIP OFF.
You can go to a PTDI school, for $5000. why pay almost $10,000 to get a job that will get you a job making 25,000-32,000 the first year?! FFE will train you for free...many others will too!!

 

Just make the best of it....like most jobs, it is 100% attitude....Start happy, stay happy!
