I am trying to get a local job so that I can be home every night.

I beleive the fact that I have had 3 jobs in 3 yrs - none longer than 8 mths and are currently unemployed is costing me now as no one is interested in hiring me...

In case you are wondering...2 jobs I quit, 1 job laid off due to loss of USMail contract in FL and company had no other business in FL.

I hate my large gaps in unemployment.

What is the deal with explaining what you were doing during that time..?

"I was looking for work.." is that enough..?
